Image Engine was lead visual effects vendor, completing 311 shots for Academy Award-nominated District 9. The studio’s scope of work included creating 100% of the digital aliens, as well as the alien mother ship, CG helicopters, CG Casspir troop carriers, and miscellaneous shots with computer-generated gore and compositing tasks.
