Michael Billette

Workflow Supervisor

Bringing over a decade of experience in visual effects with a strong focus on procedural workflows, FX, and pipeline development, Michael Billette is a workflow supervisor at Image Engine. Known for his technical expertise and problem-solving approach, he works closely with artists and supervisors to streamline production processes and improve efficiency across departments.

Michael joined Image Engine in 2012 and has progressed through a wide range of roles, including roto artist, layout artist, modeller, environment TD, FX TD, lead FX TD, and procedural workflow lead before stepping into his current role as workflow supervisor in 2022. 

Throughout his time at the studio, he has developed and implemented procedural systems, automated FX setups, and pipeline tools, supporting complex simulations and large-scale production workflows.
