Visual Effects Supervisor

Andy Walker brings over 22 years of experience to his role as visual effects supervisor at Image Engine, where he has overseen a diverse array of projects including Skeleton Crew, Lift, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hawkeye, The Unforgivable, Chaos Walking, and the Emmy-nominated Lost in Space season 2.

His on-set experience extends to films such as Gabby’s Dollhouse, Lift, The Unforgivable, and Mowgli, as well as commercial productions for major brands including Pepsi, Discover, Lowe’s, and Geico, which he won a 2007 VES Award for Outstanding Performance by an Animated Character in a Live Action Broadcast Program, Commercial, or Music Video. 

Andy’s extensive experience includes overseeing large crews and managing complex visual effects sequences. At Framestore, he honed his skills in look development, lighting, effects simulations, and rigging, contributing to the success of numerous high-profile projects including Gravity, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Mowgli, and Alita: Battle Angel. Andy joined Framestore London in 2001 and spent six years helping the studio set up its New York City office, where he worked his way up from technical director to CG supervisor, visual effects supervisor, and finally head of computer graphics.

Andy graduated from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom, where he studied computer visualization and animation. With an award-winning portfolio, a diverse background in computer graphics, and extensive supervision experience, Andy ensures the highest quality visual effects for every project he undertakes.
