Janeen Elliott

Compositing Supervisor

With a career spanning over two decades since 1998, Janeen Elliott is a VES Award–winning compositing supervisor at Image Engine, known for her strong creative eye and ability to guide complex visual effects work from concept through delivery. 

She has been compositing supervisor on projects including The Abandons and Kraven the Hunter, bringing a high level of craft and consistency to large-scale productions.

Since joining Image Engine in 2007, Janeen has contributed to a wide range of film and episodic projects, including Halo: Season 2, The School for Good and Evil, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, The Mandalorian, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, Jurassic World, and Chappie. Her work at the studio includes a VES Award nomination for Elysium and an Outstanding Compositing win for District 9, reflecting her contributions to some of the studio’s most recognized projects.

Earlier in her career, Janeen worked in Toronto at Stargate Studios as an animator before transitioning into compositing at GVFX, where she received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Haven. She later moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, contributing to projects such as The Matrix sequels at ESC Entertainment and Star Wars: Episode III at ILM, where she also received a VES Award nomination for Poseidon.
