Robert Schajer is a seasoned industry professional with nearly three decades of work in visual effects. As a Visual Effects Executive Producer for Image Engine, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

Robert’s career journey began as a Production Assistant at Rhythm & Hues, where he gained valuable experience working on commercials and theme park rides. His dedication and talent quickly propelled him to Coordinator and later to Producer during his tenure at Dreamquest Images, where he worked on the feature films Inspector Gadget and Mission to Mars.

Throughout his career, Robert has had the opportunity to work on several major productions. Notably, he spent nearly two years in New Zealand working on the groundbreaking film, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He has also held roles as a Senior Producer, VFX Producer, and Executive Producer at esteemed studios such as Frantic Films, Cinesite London, and BUF, where he contributed to films like World War Z, Life of Pi, The Kingsmen, and Blade Runner 2049.

In 2017, Robert made the decision to move to Vancouver and joined Scanline, working on high-profile projects, including Aquaman, Terminator: Dark Fate, and Black Adam. Eventually, he found his way to Image Engine, where he continues to make significant contributions as a Visual Effects Executive Producer.

Collaborating closely with producers, visual effects supervisors, and other team members, he provides unique insights and perspectives that enhance the quality of our projects. Robert is also passionate about knowledge sharing and takes pride in mentoring and supporting emerging talents in the industry.
