As Cinesite Group Head of Finance for VFX, Matthew Maycock oversees the group’s visual effects division, which includes Image Engine, Trixter, FX3X and Cinesite’s London and Montreal operations.
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Durham University, Matt began his career at Deloitte in 2010. He progressed through the ranks to assistant manager in the consumer business sector of audit and assurance, during which he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Joining BT Group’s cost transformation team in 2014, Matt honed his business partnering expertise before taking on a new challenge in BT’s digital voice team.
Prior to joining Cinesite in 2022, Matt held senior positions at DAZN Group, a global sports subscription streaming platform, as Head of Finance for Subscriptions and later Head of Finance for New Revenues. During this time, Matt was instrumental in the launch of DAZN Bet and was responsible for the ongoing financial management of various DAZN products, including betting, NFTs and e-commerce.
