As Head of People and Culture, Kate Macintosh is responsible for championing a studio environment that builds on Image Engine’s reputation as an employer of choice within the visual effects community.
Kate’s “people-first” approach is key to the continued success of Image Engine’s studio environment. It is with this approach that she leads the collaborative effort of all departments and levels in strengthening and defining a company culture that fuels engagement and retention of our world-class crew.
Kate began her career as an Undergraduate Internship Advisor before moving on to become a Recruitment Consultant for the Finance sector. She joined the Moving Picture Company in 2003 as a recruiter where she gained considerable experience in expanding and developing a diverse team of artists, climbing to the ranks to Human Resources Manager for feature film.
Since joining Image Engine in 2010, Kate has advanced her career from Human Resources Manager to Head of Studio Operations, before taking on the role of Head of People & Culture. Kate is in tune with what it means to create an environment of personal growth and meaningful employment for all employees.
