With a passion for crafting Hollywood blockbusters, Christine Neumann joins Image Engine as a visual effects producer. Armed with a unique blend of theatre and film studies and American cultural studies education from Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen, Christine brings a wealth of experience and passion for storytelling.
Starting with on-set roles, Christine’s career transitioned into post-production in visual effects at TRIXTER in Munich as a visual effects coordinator. Rising through the ranks, she became a visual effects producer, contributing to projects like Spiderman: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Independence Day: Resurgence. Her favourite experience was seeing the team create Goose, the Cat from start to finish and working on Captain Marvel, which she had the opportunity to celebrate at the L.A. premiere in the historic Kodak Theatre.
In 2019, Christine ventured to RISE FX in Stuttgart, but her heart longed for the mountains and the ocean, ultimately guiding her to Vancouver, where she joined DNEG for two years. Her biggest project to date became Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
At Image Engine, Christine is involved with crafting budgets and timelines, ensuring the seamless flow of creativity, and fostering strong client communication. Her strength lies in her ability to connect with people, cultivating a collaborative and motivating atmosphere. Her keen eye for detail, precision, and numerical acumen help bring our projects to life on screen.
Beyond her professional achievements, Christine’s adventurous spirit led her to acquire a private pilot’s license, allowing her to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Vancouver from above.
