Christine Chan is a Chartered Accountant with a decade of industry experience. As Finance Director she oversees the accounting, finance and tax functions of Image Engine, along with assisting in these functions for Cinesite London and Cinesite Montreal.
Christine enrolled in British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Financial Management Diploma program in 2005. Her skill and dedication saw her hired by PwC, one of the world’s largest accounting firms, by the age of 19. She spent her first three years in the PwC Entertainment Group, working with local and international film studios.
While working for PwC, Christine continued her education via night courses and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. In 2010, she transferred to the PwC Assurance Group, gaining experience in auditing and financial reporting while specializing in film, construction, and real estate clients.
During this time Christine earned her Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. This led to her to position as Director of Finance at Reunion Pictures, where she oversaw corporate and production finance, accounting, taxation, and film tax credit administration.
Christine Chan joined Image Engine in 2016, bringing her deep skill-set and analytical approach to the role of Finance Director.
