With over 11 years of experience in visual effects and animation, Emilie Ancet brings a depth of production experience and leadership to her role as visual effects producer. Since joining Image Engine in 2016, she has steadily advanced her role, starting as a production coordinator, then department production manager, production manager, and now producer.
Over nearly a decade at Image Engine, Emilie has built deep expertise in team management, scheduling, and resource planning. She works closely with supervisors, department leads, and artists to build teams, assign shots, monitor progress, and resolve challenges across production. Her recent credits include Murderbot, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Foundation season 2, Moon Knight, Swan Song, and Hawkeye.
Before Image Engine, Emilie worked at Rainmaker in Vancouver on an animated Barbie feature, coordinating across assets, FX, lighting, and compositing. She originally began her career at MPC Vancouver as an animation coordinator on Monster Trucks and Suicide Squad.
Originally from France, Emilie holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication from ISCOM Paris and a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Université de Picardie Jules Verne. Her love of storytelling and collaboration continues to drive her work, whether she’s managing teams or helping bring complex sequences to life.
