Francesc Izquierdo is crowd supervisor at Image Engine, where he oversees crowd workflows and supports the delivery of high-quality crowd simulations across all projects at the studio. In his role, he works closely with artists, leads, and production teams to ensure crowd work is delivered efficiently and to the required standard, while contributing to ongoing pipeline and workflow development for the department.
Francesc joined Image Engine as lead crowd TD before stepping into his current supervisory role in 2022. Since then, he has taken on responsibility for managing crowd work at a project-wide level, supporting teams while coordinating across departments to meet production goals.
Prior to Image Engine, Francesc built his career at studios including Animal Logic and MPC in London and Vancouver, where he worked as a crowd TD and later in senior and lead roles. Over the years, he has contributed to a range of large-scale productions while developing deep expertise in crowd simulation and workflow optimization.
Originally based in Barcelona, Spain, Francesc began his visual effects career in 2007 and is largely self-taught in CG and VFX.
