Geoff joined Image Engine in 2011, to contribute his expertise in production to Universal Pictures’ Safe House as Image Engine’s visual effects producer. He then produced visual effects for Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty, which earned him a VES Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Feature Motion Picture. Geoff served as Image Engine’s visual effects producer for other projects including Fast6, Straight Outta Compton and for Neill Blomkamp’s third feature film Chappie.
In 2016/17 he again worked closely with director Neill Blomkamp, managing the visual effects department for his personal experimental studio, OATS Studios.
Geoff rejoined Image Engine in 2018 as Senior Visual Effects Producer on the feature film Skyscraper for Universal Pictures and Legendary Entertainment.
In 2019, after wrapping up work on Pokemon: Detective Pikachu for Warner Bros., Geoff stepped into the role of Visual Effects Executive Producer. With this appointment, Image Engine continues to expand its capacity and capabilities, enabling the studio to tackle the delivery of increasingly complex work for film and television.
